After a radical life change, we came to the United States with our daughters and our dog. We put our careers on hold for a while, but it was far from wasted time. As immigrants, we rediscovered ourselves, questioned everything, and reinvented who we are. The smile and lightheartedness in our work remain the same, but the English… what a difference! Joking aside, achieving fluency in another language is incredible, but it’s just one of the rewards that comes with crossing the ocean.
